We are excited to announce for our ten year anniversary, we will be hosting an art contest - sponsored by Clip Studio Paint!

The winner of the contest will receive a one year license to Clip Studio Paint EX, two weekend passes to the Thy Geekdom Con 2025 event and a T-Shirt of their design!

Clip Studio Paint (@clipstudioofficial) is used by over 45 million people for the creation of illustrations, comics, webtoons, and animations. Known for its natural drawing feel and plentiful features, Clip Studio Paint is supported by illustrators, comic artists, and animators, and used by beginners and industry professionals alike and it's available for PCs, tablets, and smartphones!

The art contest will be to create a T-Shirt design celebrating the ten year anniversary of Thy Geekdom Con!

Contest Rules & Conditions:

• There is no fee to enter
• Be 18 or older to enter
• Must follow Thy Geekdom Con & Clip Studio Paint on either Instagram or Facebook
• Contestants may submit a maximum of 2 entries
• Any work that is late or not in the form required will be disqualified with all rights remaining with the artist.
• Submissions can only use the colors Red, Black and White for the design
• Must be an original design - and contains no licensed graphics (example: no known anime characters)
• Submissions will be judged, in part, on ability to be reproduced on garments. Because of this, designs must not contain gradients
• All submissions must be digital
• Dimensions for digital entries are minimum 8.5” wide x 11” tall and not to exceed 10” wide x 16” tall, and a minimum of 300 dpi resolution.
• Acceptable file formats for digitized artwork: .png, .psd, .pdf, .svg - minimum 300 dpi resolution.
• By entering this Contest, each contestant consents to the use of their artwork in any contest advertisements, merchandise materials for sale by Thy Geekdom Con or contest publicity carried out or produced by Thy Geekdom Con and its advertising and promotional agencies without further notice or compensation. Non-winning or non-compensated artwork rights are still retained by the original artist.
• For the purpose of merchandise requirements Thy Geekdom Con reserves the right to reproduce, alter and otherwise change the original winning artwork for our best use. Thy Geekdom Con can publish or decline to publish, or use or decline to use, any submitted artwork at its sole discretion. The winning artworks will become the property of Thy Geekdom Con.
• Non-winning entries may be modified and re-entered into future art contests.
• Deadline to submit is March 15th, 2025!
